How much time does it take when one sends their passport for visa stamping. I reside in NY, does anyone have a clue, it's been 15 days already...

I am in NYC also. I just want to know.... in the letter they sent you, requesting your passport for stamping, how many days did they give you to mail the passport to them?

Please let me know... I will really appreciate it.

I think it is 30 days..since I don't have documents now.

They ask me to send the passport within 60 days period.

So what's the problem..If You want your Process to be complete at the earliest, send passport immediately. If you want to delay, send late (But within 2 Months period)

However, the validity of visa will be 1 year from the date of your Medical Examination, irrespective of when you get visa stamped on your passport.

hey Guys.

My case is up for a final approval tomorrow.. I got the info through the Caips notes. My medical expires on July 06, 2003. So if all goes well.. will they give me only a week or two to enter Canada? Considering it takes an avg. of 2 weeks to send and receive the passport.
