My labor was approved in july, 2010 and I travel to India for my marriage and got stuck in H1-B visa stamping under administrative processing since 5 months.
During this wait game I got my I-140 approved on Feb, 2011 in premium.
Now I am in India ( waiting for my H1 visa approval) I want to file I-485 and complete the GC processes.
The good thing in my priority date in current because of my wife place of birth ( she born in UAE but not India) and as per my attorney I can get my GC soon.
I called NVC yesterday to check the status...they said "FEE PAYMENT INSTRUCTION has been sent to my attorney".
I need to know once I paid the GC fees what will be the remaining steps ?
How long does it take to get the INTERVIEW call from MADRAS CHENNAI ?
How long does it take to get the GC?
As my H1-B visa is pending under administrative processing, does this have any impact on my GC interview?
FYI : Meanwhile I am trying to arrange the document required for GC interview, like PCC for myself & for my wife etc.
Please answer my question and let me know what can be happen in my situation.
