i am really hoping if someone can help me out here. i need to transfer to another employer but i'm on H1B1 not H1B. for H1B the new employer has to request the transfer and all they have to do is wait for the letter from the immigration that they got the request and you can work for the new employer. but how is it for H1B1? some say that it's the same as H1B but some say that you have to wait for the approval before you can transfer. please someone clarify this for me. thank you very much.
