Need INFO Regarding the Stay of immigrant outside Canada

Hello all,
Well........ i need some information regarding the stay outside canada
for a canadian immigrant.

i got my immigration on June 2001.
i got a RRP(Returning Resident Permit) for 3 months n
the 2nd RRP for 2 Years coz was doing Engineering in India.
The time on the RRP is considered as time spent in canada.

so from the 5 Years.......... i already did more than 2 years in canada.
also ...... i had my PR card made n i had also lived 3-4 months in
canada during my Engg Course.
n that makes 2 1/2 years.

All i need to know is:
-- How long from now can i stay in INDIA(outside canada)??
-- is there any way by which i can stay in INDIA for about 1 year
from now.??
(if i have to go back to canada......... in case)

i m desperately looking for ANS to these Questions.
n i'll be thankful to anyone who helps me out.

your status would begin from the day you got your PR card.

If the stay outside Canada is more than 3 years within the 5 year pd the immigration status would be cancelled...
