Need Info about FP

I went for my FP today at the scheduled time. Surprisingly, the people there were VERY polite and helpful. After such bad experience with the RUDE IIOs, it was such a pleasant experience.

Experts, could you tell me how long does FBI take to process FPs?There was some problem with the printing of one finger and they had to do it 5-6 times but they were still not VERY satisfied. So I am a bit apprehensive.

When can I call to find out if the FPs were ok. And what are the numbers to call?

My online status does not even say that FP notice was issued so I have no hopes of finding out when TSC will receive the FP results.

and online says the ...old message...
but when i checked the online its saying FP received on 3/7/03

So most of the times Online is ......

I did check the phone message also. It is the same as the online message. (Same old message with 725...775 days etc.)
 
it will take atleast 10-14 days for the message to be updated...my wife had her FP done on feb 7th and the message was updated on feb 19th...saying that we received the results and processing has resumed...so give it another week..and if u dont see any change in the message..call TSC and find out..sometimes they do receive it but the message never gets updated..i have seen some cases like that..

I did my FP on 2/11 (manual) and checked with FBI they had forwarded to BCIS on 2/18. The phone message changed on 3/7. The online still shows the old message. I called iio on 3/4 they did not have any FP info on their on system.

My wife has got a similar issue and ASC folks tooks 5 times her FP (both Computer scanning & manual) and they did not satisfy and they sent the same to FBI and we waited for almost two months (as I was not able to reach IIOs) and finally when I called them two weeks back they said that her FPs were rejected (unclassifyable or some thing that kind) by FBI and for us the good thing is the IIO sent a manual FP last week and my wife did her FP last saturday and this time ASC folks did not complain any thing. Hopefuly we will not get any issues this time.

I hope you may not get this ordeal. Also it is better to call them within 10 days to know your FP status.

you can call them in two to three days

FBI does their job very efficiently. You can call them at FBI's phone number in two to three days.

If you were electronically Fingerprinted you may call them in two days. Have your A number ready (they do not knoe you by SRC number but the A number).

Good luck, but If you get rejected for some reason, go back to ASC and do the FP again.
