Need immidiate Help!!! Refund of Canaian Landing Fee(ROLF or RPRF) and USA GC

Gurus,

I have an unusual situation. Need immediate help..!!!!!
Let me try to explain:

I got Canadian PR approved in March, 04 and stamped on Passport on April, 04 going to Canadian Consulate Office in NY. My deadline to land in Canada is on September 11, 2004. What a day...!!!

I got my USA Green Card approved on June 30, 2004. And my passport is stamped on July21, 2004. Now I am waiting for my USA GC card by mail any day soon. But I do not know when I will get it..!

I am working for a company in USA which has business in Canada as well. Now, I have to go to Ontario, Canada early next week.

I like to give up my Canadian PR that is stamped on my passport physically going to Canadian Consulate Office in NY. Is any one knows what is the procedure? I need it URGENT....!!!!

What papers do they need during the withdraw process. Can I do it in one day tomorrow (Friday, Aug 6th, 04)? I did not make any appointment. I just like to go there and complete the process. Can I do that? Has Anyone have the same experience?

Will there be any problem to go to Canada after this and safely return after official visit using my USA Green Card? As still I did not receive my USA green card by mail, what extra steps I should take during Canada visit?

Don't land and I believe you will get it back

If you do not land, after your deadline date for landing, you can fax or write to them saying you didn't make it before the deadline and you want to get the refund back. You probably need to return the landing paper to them.
