I am about to resign from my current employer, who applied for my green card. Will there be any problems in my GC processing with respect to this. Is ther a rule that we can't change jobs on our own, unless and until we get layedoff?

Please give me some advice on this. I need to make some quick decisions based on this.
 
I dont think there is a rule that u have to wait until u get laid off..you can change jobs after 6 months of 485 ND...contact ur lawyer...u need to get into a job which is similar to what u r doing now...hope that helps..
