Hi eveybody, here's my situation. I applied for asylum during summer of this year. My application was accepted on July 26,2011. I had my interview on August 29,2011. The officer has told me to wait for decision. Right now, I'm still in college and graduating in December 2011. I have maintained my F1 status so far. I know that you can apply for EAD after 150 days of accepted application, but I'm not sure if I should apply for my OPT after graduation i.e. right now or just wait till December and apply EAD as pending asylum case.
Any suggestion.. please help?
 
Just wait for the decision. U better apply for 150 based work permit (asylum application based) and in case if u dont get approved u still have the option of OPT.
 
I got one more problem related with my graduation, and I still have my asylum pending. I'm thinking for letting my parents apply for my graduation visa, but I heard from my other friends that they might get their visa rejected since, I have applied for asylum. Is there any way for them to get the visa?
Any suggestion please, thanks.

Since your asylum had been filed, accepted and under process, they will get problem to apply VISA under purpose to see you.
