Hello all!

I am currently on a J1 visa and have a question with regards to the home residence requirement. If I were to live in Canada during my last two years of residency and commute to the US every day, would that count as the home residence requirement? Hence, I would be living in Canada and commuting daily the last two years of my J1 visa. Any ideas?
 
Thats not possible. 2YHRR states that you have to serve your home country for two years OR ask your home government that they do not have any objection if you serve USA instead of home country.
