I am a french citizen. I am married to an American citizen for over two years now. My problem is I was married before to another American citizen for 17 years. The ex-husband didn't filed until 2000. We sent all the papers in and they (ins) sent us notice of action. Meanwhile, we were having some marital problem it got so bad. We split up and I filed for divorce in 2003. He was treating me that he's going to turn me to the authorities. Anyway, I never finished my papers. I don't know what to do. My new husband talked to several attorneys but they charge to much. Please, help need information.
