I have 0 confidences in my lawyer, can't change her so I am looking to do my own home work. I would appreciate any help.
I have been working as a Tech Support Eng for an American company since 2000. RIR was applied in dec 2003 as TSE position.
I have had a couple of promotions since I was hired and am now a Sr. TSE (My job is about 75% different than previous TSE). My lawyer is going to file my PERM for the Sr TSE position and since it is over 50% different than the old job she is not with drawing the RIR.
For PERM can I use the experience I gained at the company for the last 5 years? I think I can't (My lawyer is not sure). I was working as a Network Assistant at the university that I did my bachelors from, for about 15-16 months but it was a part time job. Do you think my experience as network assistant (I was also helping the students and faculty with hardware and software support) will be enough to meet the job zone etc standard incase I can't use the experiance I gained at the current job? I just need to figure out how to calculate the job zone etc and make sure that I am in the correct job zone and qualify for it. To be honest I don't even know enough about the zone etc to ask the correct questions. Please help me figure out where I stand. I will answer any questions that you ask.
Thanks in advance
