Dear All,

Please I need to know the following information ASAP

- How long can an employee on H1B take to join company B from company A on a H1B transfer case
- For how long a H1B employee be on unpaid vacation
- Given a choice between the two above mentioned cases, which is more preferred to avoid any complications in later time

Thank you,

Actually my H1B transfer got approved in the Nov 2003 but I joined the company in end of January. Will this create problem with my GC in later time?
Thank you

You have upto 90 days from approval date to join the new company. however a good lawyer can argue that the new H1 is valid until its expiry date. Should not be a problem for GC though.

If you(or your spouse) happen to appear at a US consulate this might comeup. If you had valid paystubs all around you need not worry.
