Need Help---Transfer to Loacal Office

Just check AVM, , it said: tranfer to local office.....

What is the means for it? What I need to prepare?

means that your case has been selected for interview

Please go over all your details and if you have a lawyer consult him and try to prepare all documents etc etc.

If you do not have a lawyer please think very deeply on the pros the cons and the interesting points about hiring one

what is particular about your case for it to be selected for interview?

did you file under 245(i)?
did you do fingerprint more than once?

Think of a reason that made the officer selects your case for interview
 
My case got t transferred to the Local sanjose office too

hi! my case also got transferred to Sanjose INS in FEB 2002.So waiting to hear from the INS.Meanwhile i met with my Lawyer,he says since my case was filed under 245i,there was a strong chance for me getting called for interview....there were some other documents,EAD ,that i had filed once before that i had forgotten about and didnt mention that in my present EAD,that could be another factor....so...dunno for sure....
when did your case get transferred...and to which INS office.
My WAC is 01-215-xxxxx,RD 4/20 ND 4/6/2001 FP 11/2001
 
Interview

My case transfer to San jose on March 22.

My case is very normal case EB3, same company, everything should be OK. I don\'t kniw why I got an interview.

RFE case transfered to local office

On Mar 26 my case was transfered to local office. I was RFEd on 02/27. RFE replied on 03/18. case transfered on 03/26.

And the wait continues....

I think computer guys do not get interview

But in other cases I am not sure
 
Computer guys do get RFE

I have a friend whose case is very straight forward and his company is one of the top 5 in the industry (do not want to name the comp.)
He got an RFE. Maybe it is not common, but they do get RFE.
 
Sorry Interview instead of RFE

Sorry for the mistake. I meant to say that the GUY got INTERVIEW instead of RFE. He has to go for interview, his date is not decided but should be in a month or so.

Have u filed in 245(i)

Have u maintained status during ur prescence in USA ?
or have u had many changes in visa status
like F1,B1,tourist,H1, etc etc

How long has been ur stay in the USA

Have u changed jobs ?

what is the size of your company ?
