Need Help Regarding Travelling...

Hello All,

As i have been following this forum i came across lot of threads about travelling on RTD but not GC. I have a concern and i hope i will get your replies or personal experiences in this regard.
I am an aslyee and iam planning to travel to Qatar (not COP) in couple of weeks with my RTD. After a run around from the local immigration office in qatar they finally told my family that we do not accept RTD.
Now my question is, Has anyone been in this situation before or what is the way out, i mean these are documents issued by USA, and i can not use my NP.

You right! certain countries dont recognize the RTD, at least they don't think it is a good document, even though they know it is a valid and a USA issued.
Be careful ! a friend of mine get stuck in Sana (Yemen) over a long period of time, he wind up boarding through Cairo (Egypt). After several hassles and hardship.
Plan your trip right and good luck.

SO what you are saying is that they didnt let your friend enter the country and he had to return from cairo??
well in my situation iam trying to get the visa first, but they told my family i dont need a visa since iam travelling with qatar airways and i can get one at the arrival when i get there..but later on they told them we dont accept the RTD.
So what was the situation with your friend, and thanx for the info it helped alot. Any further info would be highly appreciated.THX

unless you some kind of big connections in any of those countries,

i went to KUWAIT many times using RTD, to visit some family members
who live and work there,

officially , kuwait does not accept or recognize RTD, i managed to get visa

through connection from the royal family,

if you have american passport or western passport, you can fly without visa
and in the arrival airport they will get you visa in any of those countries
