Need help: PPD Test Positive

Hello every one,

I need a help here. I am ready for file for 485. Got the physical. But, PPD test for me and my wife came positive.

I had a x-ray, and mine came clean. But they said that my wife can not take a x-ray since she is pregnent.

Talked to my lawer too. He think, it process would not be stop because of positive PPD and we should go ahead and file for 485.

Still, I would like to hear from you guys about this. How the positive PPD test will effect our 485 process? Will my wife get EAD? will this is push for 485 approval behind?? We need info if you guys know any!!

I would really appreciate for the info.

Do u think that posting same message again and again will give you a faster answer.

PPD failure will not generate an RFE if x-ray is clear. But for your wife, she will get an RFE to get her x-ray done.

You can still go ahead and file her I485.
Yes, she will get her EAD along with yours.
At a later stage, when you would be near to the approval process, she will definitely get an RFE to redo the X ray part in the medicals, which would be no big deal.
So bottomline, you are fine.
