hi all

I filed my 485 and I got my AP and EAD. (waiting for physical paper of AP, got my ead card). I have my valid H1 but its not stamped. Here passport stamping is taking 3 months of time. So its not possible for me to get it stamped here.

My lawyer told me that u cant go without AP. Now a days in Bombay they are rejecting H1 so its batter to have AP. Initially they told me to get it stamped at Bombay but now they are telling me totally different.

If I get married in India, how can I sponsor my wife if I don’t have my h1 stamped??

Does any one know????

I don\'t know the answer for the first question, but you don\'t need valid visa stamp to get visa for your wife. you need valid H1 papers employer letter, tax returns (if needed) or bank statment.

but my lawyer said that chances of getting stamped is 99%. If bombay cons. is rejecting than you should have AP with you... are they rejecting????
