Need help Please! I-485 approved for primary and pending for dependent

I have posted the details of my case on last Friday. My 485 is approved but for my wife it\'s still pending. We both filed at the same time but for some reason it\'s pending. Can someone post whether this is common.
I am seeing cases being approved for both primary and dependent at the same
time. Please post any info you have.

Also, We applied for EAD\'s on May 10 and got approved on July 7th. No cards yet. I should be fine since my 485 is approved, but What happens to my wife EAD. I see EAD being received within 7-10 days after approval. Can someone please tell us what to do. Thanks very much in advance.

Here are my details once again,

EB2, RIR
I-485
RD - 07/02/99
ND - 07/27/99
Approved - 07/27/2000 as per the automated message. Waitng for the
approval notice. Filed for my wife along with mine. But still pending.

EAD - Renewal
RD- May 10, 2000
ND- May 11, 2000
Approved - July 7, 2000
No cards yet. Current EAD\'s are expiring on August 07.
Please provide any info.

Did you check if her FP has been okay by FBI?
I have the same approval date on your EAD 7/7/00 and already got it last 7/19/00.

Yes, I did check with FBI and they said everything was alright. Regarding EAD, should I call IIO and ask them to reorder another
card? Appreciate your help.

An IIO told me one time that it\'s not guaranteed that both cases would be approved at the same time. I would still check to make sure everything is OK with her application, but as a general rule, it\'s not a given that her case will be approved together with yours...
