DS-156 and DV 2007! Interview comming soon! Please Help!
I was on F1 visa in the US. I fell out of status, applied for reinstatement and was denied. I left the US before the deadline INS gave me. Now I'll be going to an interview for a new visa. I also applied for a Green Card in Fall 05. My question is:
Should I say that I have applied for GC in DS-156(Question 36)?
Is applying for GC considered an immigration petition?
And If I say no can the officer find out about my DV application? What are the consequences if the officer finds out?
