I need some help and advice on my friends case..as he does not have access to computer.
He came here on a F 1 and got his EAD..as has was having GC petition pending in the chennai consulate..he transfered all his documents from chennai to the USA and he applied for adjustment of status. V visa and a EAD on the basis of his pending petition. He did his finger printing in June 2002 and still has not received his EAD or his visa, he spoke to the INS and also payed a trip to the INS district office in NY for a Interim EAD and they told him that they cannot give him and the visa center will take the final decision on his case.
What should he do now? please advice and guide.
