My I-140 (extra-ordinary ability) got approved last week. I filed the application by myself. I did not file I-485 concurrently.
My wife and new-born baby got FOOD-STUMPS from the local county three years ago while I was working as a Post-Doc for a period of 1-1/2 years.
Does this fall into the category of whether I have recieved any public assistance in the US from any source including the US govt, or any state, or county, city? If it does, then how does it affect in approving I-485? Can you suggest me what is the best way for me to answer this question?
