Need Help On Filling out N-400 (NYC)

Quick Question:
Never been married and have no children, can I just put N/A into Part8/ Part9's number box, and leave the rest blank?

Well, basically my problem is kinda silly: I dont know when to leave blank and when to put N/A...

And, normally how long does it take for a flushing case go for fingerprint appointment and get Interview notice?

Plus, how earlier the Interview notice will be sent out before the interview itself?

1) I generally chose to put N/A but that is by way of a memo to myself and the IO that I did look at the question rather than forgot it
2) Fingerprint notices often come out in a matter of a few weeks or even less.
3) Interview notices are another story and depend of many, many things. Do searches on this site for "namecheck"
4) Interviews are usually hed a few weeks after the interview notice. This is good, you do not want the frustration of a long wait but you also need time for all your swotting/cramming !!!!

Since the question was "How many...," I entered a "0" and left the rest of it blank. Seemed to work just fine.

I think the fillable form also converts any letters to "0."

I put a zero in, I think for the How many question and left the rest blank...I had the same question as you because that's two pages of answers you skip, but check carefully.

Anyway at the interview the IO will go over each question with you. Good Luck.
