Need help of Ref.

Hi Gurus,

I got ref for my I-485 case on 31-Aug-04 but I did not get letter. But case status changed yesterday night. Today morning I checked the case status like this -On August 31, 2004, we responded to your request for more information concerning your case. If you have not received our response within 30 days from this date, please call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

It's already 44 day are over and I have following questions for you?
Is this will create problem to get my case approved?
Who should get Ref letter from INS me or Lawyer?
What type of ref will be?

You excellent help will be greatly appreciated.

I have the same online status coz, I changed my address, but I did'nt receive the confirmation letter for address change.

Did you request any info or change your address? then why it is saying in your case "we responded to your request for more information concerning your case. If you have not received our response within 30 days from this date,......" ???
 
Gurus,

I called 800 number and found that I had this ref becuase of Address change. SR told me that they don't need anything else from me. I am still waiting for email reply from lawyer.
