I went for my interview yesterday and I went through the process. The IO officer told me I was approved and gave me the letter for my oath ceremony the same day. It was scheduled for 3:15 that day. I went back for the ceremony and another IO told me I couldn't do the ceremony because they have to review my file because if voting and I will get a letter in the mail with a decision. I did register to vote in 2000 but I had my name removed and deleted from the system. I did stated that on the application and I also send in proof with my application that I never voted and I was removed from the system. The IO asked me about it and review what I gave her. She approved the application. Why would they need to go through it again? Why not tell me that at the interview? Will I be denied?
