Folks:
My case got transferred from Vermont to Texas on March 15th. My PD is Dec 2001. Not sure what is going on. But it seems the PD does not matter anymore, and the immigration officer told me that my receipt date of my I485 is March 15 2007. My original date was 06/04.
Right now, I am not even sure what is going on as they cannot provide any info. THe case was originally stuck in namecheck via vermont. My fingerprints happened in April, 05 so they are also expired by now as is the medical which was in 12/03.
I am a bit upset by their handling and lack of information.
On top of that, I am getting married to a US citizen, and they say it will not effect my case?
Can someone advise.
My labor was approved 10/03, and I140 (EB2) - 02/05.
Would appreciate any advice.
