Need help: I-765 still not approved

I filed I-140 and I-485 concurrently. My I-765 ND is July 3rd. I still did not get my EAD so far. It's over 6 months already. I called the 1-800 number to inquire them to check. They asked me to wait for 30 days. Nothing happened. I called again, they asked me to wait for another 30 days. My attorney said she cannot do anything for me.
What I gonna to do? Should I go for a interim EAD? I still have 2 years in H1. But really want to find out why. Afraid they will mass up my other applications.
Any suggestions? Appreciated. :confused:
 
No need to worry! If you have valid H1 forget about EAD. If you don't get it within the next few months reapply for EAD!

If your attorney is not being helpful, there are hundreds of attorney's out there who will be only too glad to get your business.
 
I filed concurrently in Sept, 2003, already got the approval of I765, but no approval of I131, I140, I485 yet. I am CSC. It looks that processing is moving.
 
My friend's I-140 (EB2 category) got approved from CSC... its receipt date is second week of August. This is in contrast to the May/June date that CSC is showing on their website as the currently processing dates.

Her AP, 765 were approved also.

I believe CSC (especially) is not approving 765 and/or AP without the approved I-140. Then again, that is INS guideline, I guess... not to approve 765 and AP until I-140 is approved.

Have patience. Your application will be approved as long as it is not frivolous.

EAD approved

On January 28, on line system confirmed that my EAD (ND Sept. 12, 2003) was approved. My wife's EAD was approved on the same day. EAD, AP, I-485 concurent filled with I-140 EB-2 niw (ND July 3, 2003) still waiting on decision for ....
