My H1 approval and I-94 expired on Mar 22 2007. My company applied for extension in March but it is still in progress, USCIS has sent an RFE and my company has sent response back to them but I do not know how long it would take to approve my H1 extension. I just have the receipt number.
Since all EB dates are current can I go ahead and apply for 485 even though my H1 extension is under process. Is receipt number and expired I-94(old) just enough for applying 485 or do we need physical approval notice and new I-94
