Need Help : Getting Advance Parole(AP) from local INS

I would like to know whether I can get Advance Parole(AP) from local INS by showing 485 receipt notice. If anybody got like, please post the details. I appreciate.
 
I got it in Hartford, CT

I went there in person, but they only send it by post. Also they required me to give them copies of current visa, I-94, besides the I-485 receipt notice. I got AP in about two weeks by mail.
