I got FP notice for self and wife on 03/10/05 at NJ center. I currently live in Inidanapolis. This morning I took the notices to the Local INS office and asked them if they can do my FP here today instead of NJ. After 4 long hours of waiting the supervisor asked me to come back on the Notice date, i.e. on 03/10/05 at 8:00AM (no appointment was given).
On the second thought I called the 1-800 number given on the notice and asked the customer service rep. about my problem and she asked me to go to the NJ center as my application and paper work is there.
How safe do you think to take chances of apperaing in Inidianapolis on the same day vs going to NJ.
