Need help for H1B Stamping

Hi ,

can anyone help me regarding my h1b . I had gone to ottawa consulate for my h1b stamping but they told me to apply from india . Currently i m studying here in toronto . Can I take a new date from toronto itself and apply again ????

is yours first time usa visa stamping??....if they have asked you to go to india....shouldnt you try india instead of getting one more remark
