Hi
I have few important questions. I recently got an accounting job in atlanta and they are offering me salary in lower 30s. As far as I Know, According to the labor department website, Accountant should earn in higher 30s before
he can aply for H1 Visa in atlanta area. My question is that is it
possible to get an H1 on lower 30s. I tried hard to increase my salary
so that I can apply for sponsorship but it seems like I have to be
stuck with the same pay. However company is non-profit organization.
does it make diference in qualification on the basis of profit
organzation or non-profit organization. further more, My Opt is supposed to be starting in Sept 01, 2006, However, my company wants me to start working with them from August 2006. Though I am finishing my Masters on August 04,2006. Is it possible that I can work with them before the starting date of OPT (between August 04 to Sept 01). I am really in confusing situation and I dont want to lose this opportunity either. Your responses would be greatly appreciated.
Regards
