Hi CP gurus,
I have always found this board useful and turned to when I am in doubt.
I got my I 140 approved in first wek of Dec,2001 and because of the
delay in automated msg of NVC ,did not even know that my pkt was sent
to the attorney . I came to know last week but the attorney still maintains
she did not receive the packet. Considering the time loss, I am
wondering if I can send OF-230 part I to the consulate. My case
is MDR 2001XXXXXX. (NVC says it was sent on Dec 27,2001)Does it mean I should send it to the consulate directly or do I need to send it to the St.Louis? (Waiting for the packet to be rent would mean an additional
2-4 weeks or more if I am unlucky)
Also, how complex is CP process (230 part II - and the general
preparation ) that it is necessary too have a lawyer? The reason
being apprently this is the first time my lawyer is going to handle
a CP case and she had no clue about the changing procedure.
Input from anyone who has done CP on his own would be very much
appreciated.
thanks,
