need help : Completed passport stamping, what next ? new SSN ?

hi friends,

recently I got my I-485 approval and completed passport stamping.

Do I need to do anything like applying for new SSN ? or any other steps ?
The old SSN says authorized to work if INS permits etc ( don\'t remember
exact words)...

Any comments on this ?

you need go to SSN office to get your old card replaced using your passport

with green card stamp on it, a new card will be mailed to your home in about a week or so. new card will have nothing except your SSN and your Name . your SSN will be same number as you had before.
