Need Help - Company Laying Off Folks

PD: 07/97 RD: 03/27 ND: 04/17 FP: 08/24

Guys, my company is laying off, I am not sure whether I am or not. My 180 days is over from RD.
I was wondering what are my alternatives, given that it is difficult to get a job. Can I sit without
doing anything until adjucation of my case. Is the 180 effective from RD or ND.

Has anyone experienced this or has gone thru this and what is the advise from lawyer under those
conditions.

Please advise and thanks for your help in advance.

my lawyer said

that the 180 days begin the day INS recieves your application package
which evr that is i think that is the RD, the earlier one.

Hw also said all you need is a similar job, it could be in a diff
state and you could make different kind of money.
