First, thank God for leading me to this site. Me and my spouse have a big problem. I am a green card holder and is expecting to become a US citizen sometime this year(been here for about 6 years). My spouse is an illegal resident/alien but came here 5 years ago with a tourist visa. We've been married for more than a year but we've been 2gether for about 5 years. We would like to ask for help because I want my spouse to become a resident alien so he could start to work. He hasn't done any illegal work for our fear that he might get deported. I am the only one working right now and the only thing we wished for is for him to have a green card so he could work too. Could somebody tell us what we need to do in our situation. We're both only 23 years old and we don't have any children yet even if we want to because we don't want our future children to suffer in this kind of situation. We couldn't ask anybody for help because of our fear that people might tell the immigration about my spouse and they might take him away from me which i fear most. I would really appreciate anybody's help.
