Sending requested document via UPS Overnight/Next Day Air to USCIS office in Louisville

We applied for my sons n600/COC over 3 months ago. Yesterday we got a letter from USCIS Louisville office telling us to mail in his green card and sign the 2 photos (they sent them to us) and mail them in too. So today I immediately got started on it. I went to UPS store and had it all sent UPS next day air with guaranteed delivery by 10:30 Wednesday and adult signature required so I would have delivery confirmation. It's supposed to be sent to room/suite 390. Anyway, I just happened to look online and it looks the specific Room/suite 390 for USCIS Louisville is closed in Wednesdays! So does this mean the suite is actually closed for deliveries and no one will be working or is it just closed to the public on Wednesdays? Or does all mail/deliveries from UPS, FedEx, etc. go to a mail room at the USCIS office and then to the suites and rooms? I would really appreciate any knowledge or thoughts.

Update

Update: UPS online tracking of the documents shows that it was delivered to 601 West Broadway in Louisville (this is address for DHS/USCIS) this morning and signed for by someone named XXXXXXX at the "front desk". The actual address it was supposed to go to was 601 West Broadway, SUITE 390......so UPS didnt actually take it to "SUITE 390".

Based on previous experiences of other posts on the board here, etc., do you guys think this is ok? I am sure I had UPS to type "ROOM 390" on the label that is on the envelope.

With N600's they don't update it online so I won't really know if they got it or not. Thanks!

Does it sound like it is "lost" somewhere in that building? It needs to actually get to ROOM 390. Argggh. What can't anything just be simple?

Why must you obsess over little details that are outside of your control? It got to the right building, they have an internal mail system that will route mail to the proper suite. Your package is not the first piece of mail ever to be delivered to USCIS.

You are right RJackal, I do obsess over details. I just need to know that this is completed and taken care of. My mother was diagnosed with cancer this past year and it's just been really hard on me, I am my
Mom and Dad's only child. It makes me realize how important it is to take care of everything for your family, which is what I am trying my best to do with this COC for my son. Mom's cancer is out of my control, I know I'm obsessing over making sure our envelope got to correct USCIS address and wasn't lost, misdirected, etc. but I need something to just be "ok" and go smoothly. Does that make sense? The USCIS Louisville office is in a huge building with a ton of other federal offices I think, seems like if it was signed for by someone at front desk yesterday there could be chance it got routed to the wrong agency or office, stolen, accidentally thrown away, or just plain out lost.

It made it, my envelope was signed by front desk aswell. The people who deliver to USCIS are well instructed on what to do. It arrived safely and most likely will receive notification soon of that.

....and there is no way of me knowing. Why can't they just give an e-mail address of the person so you can simply e-mail and say "hey, we sent this....did you guys get it?".

Hi Steve, and thanks. So when you sent your to the Miami field office (I think that's what you had said), it just ended up being delivered to front desk as well?
Thanks!

The tracking said FRONT DESK. Processing after I sent missing documents took roughly July 25 to Sept 12 approved letter. Total processing probably would have been in the 2.5 months if not missing divorce documents. So in the end it was still only 4 month processing time. In your case the info you mentioned they asked for seemed like it was already approved immediately upon sending requested documents back. Hope all goes well.
