Need help!!! AC21 before 140 approved

I filed I-140/485 Nov.2002, and both are still pending.

Now, I got a offer from other company (same category, a little better pay), but the petitioner said they can still sponsor my GC. (which means, they will reply to any RFE.)

1)What are the RFE? I believe most of the cases, it's related to company's financial document or my W2.
Do they want a proof of empolyment? If so, current company cannot do it.
Then I guess I'm in big trouble.

2) Or is it true that I can file another I-140 with my current LC? Will it be safer?

I have a personal issue, and because of that, I don't want to continue to work for current company.

Please help me...

>> GC is for future employment only. So they should not ask for proof of employment. But they may ask your latest W2 from the company and stuff like that. i went throught he same situation where my old employer had told me that they will vouch that they would like to hire me in the future. I think you should get some assurance like that.

>> You cannot file another I140 with the current LC as the LC belongs to the old company. Infact, the old company can use your LC for someone else... So, its good that you have a deal with the old employer. Keep your fingers crossed till I140 is approved.
