Hi,
I signed a contract with my company that i will stay with them for 1 year after i get my GC. I got my GC in July 2001 and i have accepted an offer from another company to start in another 3 weeks. i have been with this company for 4 yrs and i even asked them to start looking for a new client as my current project might end any day. they were unable to look for one and i was forced to look for another opportunity due to market conditions and my company is looking to make even more money out of me now. my question is
Is there a good lawyer (around DC-Metro area or anywhere else too) whom i could get advice from regarding filing a charge or not giving in to my companys demand?
is it really worth fighting this out?
any ideas or suggestions as to how to deal with this one?
