Hi,
My husband (Principal applicant) was invited for interview at Detroit on February 5, 2002 (I am guessing becuase we had initially filed the application in India and then transferred); my newborn daughter and I were not called for interview (I am guessing it was waived since I have been in US for the past 7 years). He is currently a final year MBA students and was asked to submit work experience letters for various real-life finance projects undertaken during MBA (the intended occupation is Financial Analyst). Subsequently the consulate also sent a handwritten note asking us to submit information about my brother who is a Canadian citizen. We sent all the papers on March 7, 2002.
Would it be prudent to contact consulate to find when they will make the decision. If yes, how long should we wait before contacting?
Thanks.
