hi everyone,

I need your help regarding this matter,please response everyone.

On N-400, one question was "Have you ever been arrested,cited or detained by law enforcement officer for any reason?"

How many forum members mention the "Minor Traffic Ticket" such as REd light cross, speeding ticket, no right turn" ?

please response everyone in this forum.

I can only tell you that it seems rude to me that you posted your question in so many threads. I don't know why you need everyone's help or response with this. You don't make clear if you have already filed or not.

Anyway, it would be nice if you go and delete this message from all the threads where it doesn't belong, then I guess the forum members you are calling will feel more obliged to answer your call.

To answer your question, it seems that nowadays you also need to mention those kind of traffic infractions.

I found from other website http://www.immigration-information.com/forumdisplay.php?forumid=16 where the lawyer advised to disclose the traffic violation. I had a speeding tkt 8 years ago, and I am planning to disclose it as " I was cited for a traffic violation ( speeding ), paid a fine of $60, and got 6 pts on my license. I want to do so because I have heard from so many people who didn't disclose this fact in the first place was worried for lying in N-400. Moreover, I have come to know that there is no harm disclosing this fact. So why not do that and be clean in the eyes of BCIS. I will file my N-400 in July 03. Any comments, suggestion would be appreciated.

Is there something that is preventing you from wanting to list all the traffic violations in the applicatoin? Just include them in the N-400 form. It is not going to hurt, and it should have no impact on your naturalization application. Just make sure you have copies of all the infractions with you when you attend the interview.
