Need EB1 help and guidance

Hi All

I really need you guys help as I am confused and seek guidance. I read a lot of posts on this group and they are VERY helpful.

I have a couple of questions and wish to get your take on them. Thanks

My Employer is applying for EB-1 (Multinational Executive or Manager), I am currently on OPT and it’s going to expire in March 2006. I will get my work permit in 3 to 4 months.
Q1) what will be my status in between OPT expiration and until my new work permit comes.
Q2) my green card will come in 3 to 4 years or may be more. So shall I have to have h1 or f1 to be in status or I can be in status because my petition for green card is in pending.
Q3) Can I travel outside of USA and legally re-enter without any problem.
Q4) Can I work for any company after my work permit comes in 3 to 4 months or I have to work for the company who filed for my green card (EB1)

If you are from not retrogrssed country then your employer can file I-40/I-485 simulatenously. Once done since AOS is pending you can get EAD and continue remain in job. If you plan H1B now...you will get it much before March.inany case AOS pending you can legally stay in this country and work only if you have H1B or EAD.

answer is YES!!You can stay in this country with pensing status . it is wis eto have H1B as if I-140 gets rejected then you have to get H1B ASAP...then....Q3) Can I travel outside of USA and legally re-enter without any problem.
yes with AP advance parole/travel permit!!

Q4) Can I work for any company after my work permit comes in 3 to 4 months or I have to work for the company who filed for my green card (EB1)
After ur I-140 gets approved and i485 still pensing you need to be wit company for atleast 180 days. After taht you can change job but preferably with similar kind of job.
