I am a GC holder dating 08/03,my spouse is American citizen we`ve been married for 3 years now although I did not acquire my GC through her,my question is will I be eligible to file for citizenship after 3 years based on marriage or do I have to wait 5 years to do so since I did not get GC through marriage.

I will be glad if I get a respond.
 
You have to be a PR for 2 yrs & 90 days and have to be married to a US Citizen for atleast 3 years to apply.
