If i get my green card through asylem process.
can i travel back to my native country?

If the answer is no. so when can i go back to my country and visit my parants that i have not see them for 10 years

you cannot go to your native country becoz you applied GC as a asylem. so the Govt people will catch you if you go by plane directly to ur place

one thing you can do if your indian,go to nepal by flight by there take train and go to your place,

but its difficult route. why did you applied GC thru asylem???

Which govt verant123 - US or native country? US govt will not do anything. This class is allowed to travel with parole, even during processing. Refer to uscis website.

I really wonder how could any Indian apply in this category?

I dont think GC itself imposes the travel restriction, however isnt asylum granted because your life is not guaranteed (persecution) in home country? I am not picking on any one religion, but just as an example many Sikh's may have migrated from Punjab during 84-92. Situation has improved for them, so a travel to India surely will not be seen as immigration fraud because at the time some may have rightly felt scared in India (ok, I am not condoning or condeming any actions - I am just presenting an example).

its native country doesnt allow those asylem people to their own land becoz they applied GC in that category saying that they are fear for their life in their home country ,so give us shelter in us
US gave GC as asylem that too in very fast time, may be in 1 or 2 years, i know couple of guys who got asylem from india.

lac_001, still i dont think country will allow asylem people to come and visit their parents.

you can go and come from US, there wont be any problem but if you want to go to your home country then only difficult
anyhow please ask any good attorney regarding this issue

actaully i wont prefer to apply indians as asylem here.

I dont think the issue is very clear cut, talk to some good attorney to check what are the rules from US side. Also you will want to make sure that your home country will not pounce on you once you are there.

better consult any good attoney

r u in USA rightnow or your in home country??
if u r in home country then if you want to come to USA, there wont be any problem.
 
You CAN GO, if the evidences given in the Asylum Application "changed" in your cuntry and safer for you.
Otherwise it is a misrepresentation of the facts you presented for asylum. How you will justify?

iam now in the usa, i did not get my green card yet .485 pending
my Q is :

1-after i get my green card, can i go to my native country to visit my family.

2- lets that i went to my country for a visit, after that i want to come back to usa , in the usa airport do they let me enter
or they cause me problem, because i get my green card through a asylem . do they ask me why i went back.

3- when iam going to see my family???????
because i get GC through asylem , that is why i can't go to my country never ever!!!!!!!!!

even that the satution it is better a litel bit.


4- can i travel with a reentry passport or i have to get RTD. BECAUSE I CAN'T GO TO MY COUNTRY WITH RTD

SHOULD i get my own country passport (from embasy in usa) then use it to travel back home


5-do i have to wait untill i became a US citizent.
