Need advise / When did you send your story?

Hello.

I came to the US in August 2015. I talked to few people and all of them filing the case with a story and evidence at the same time. My legal representative insisted I don't do it. He said there is no difference when to send the story. It's important for an officer to have at least one week to read what you have. All people I'm talking to are very surprised why I didn't send everything. Can someone tell me how important is this? Is anyone here gave the story like two weeks before the interview? I'm worried it could be a huge mistake.

72 hours before the interview is the deadline. My lawyer sent 4 days before. The AO reads the material on the day of the interview

But why did you wait for so long to apply? Which Office you want to send?
