need advise on travel

HI guys, My ND for I-485 is 4/7/03. It is possible that if I visit india in december my I-485 may be approved in the time when I am in India. Can I come back with a valid AP in case if I get the approval notice after I leave? Please advise me on this as I am planning to buy the ticket soon.

what happens if I am planning to go to india on 27th december and my approval comes on 24th december when the offices are closed on 25 and 26th? Do you think it will be wrong to buy the tickets now?

same concern

My wife left US the same day the 485 was approved (08/03/2004), though we didn't know the approval until yesterday. Not sure if this will invalidate her AP.

Min, please share your experience after your wife comes back. Also, did you get your approval letter yet? If you have, could you please tell me what is written there? I want to know is the finger printing date and stamping date mentioned in the letter? If you got approval in 8/3/04, what is your stamping date mentioned there?

Min, what is your ND? Also, how do you know when to go and get finger printing and stamping? Do you know the steps after getting the approval notice? If I may know, what is your city and state?
