My I485 was filed in July 2001 and my 3 yr H1B visa expires in April 2002. EAD has not been applied yet.
What is the best option/preventive action for me in these situations of being fired :
(a) Before 180 days are over from the receipt date of my I485 (btw, is receipt date considered for 180 days rule or notice date)?
(b) After 180 days are over from the receipt date of my I485.
