need advise on 7th year H1 ext

guys, my I140/485 ND is 4/7/03. I140 was approved in march 23, 04. Now I am in my H1 and H1 expires on june, 04. Please suggest me if I need to file 7th year H1 extension. If I file, how long does it take?

I am (almost) in the same boat as you are. I posted for suggestions here and also consulted my lawyer. What I understand is that we can (safely) start using EAD if 140 is approved. Now, what are the chances that 485 will be rejected after 140 is approved? I do not know. I am in a similar dilemma - whether to use EAD or not?
I am more inclined towards using my EAD. OTOH, I am now trying to find out if anybody's 485 was rejected and the reasons for that.
Please do let me know of any info that you collect in regards to this.

I heard that if u do not have criminal records or any medical problems that USA is worried about, the 485 stage does not give any problem. but u never know what may happen. Is the 7th yr ext based on the 485 application? what reasons I may need to show to continue on H1?
