Need advise I-485 appl.

Hi,
I am a new user. Would like some advises based on the informations below:
Date Entry in the US 12/2003
Filled I-589 (Asylum Application) 03/2004
FP 04/2004
Interviewed 05/2004
FP 08/2006
FP 09/2009
AD 10/2009 (Asylum Granted)

According to the Asylum Approval letter I may apply for lawful permanent resident status under section 209(b) of the Immigration and Nationality Act after I have been physically in the US for a period one year after the date I am granted asylum status.

Can I apply for the I-485 now since I have been physically present in the US for last 5 years?

Pls, advise. Thx-

To the best of my knowledge, you can't. That one year is since the date asylum is granted. So you can file I-485 next year 10/2010.
