I am completing 6 years in April 2005 and labour filed (Non-RIR) > 365 days and so eligible for 7th year extension. Also i was away from US at least 5 months and can recapture that time. Menwhile have to go India in April 2005
My question is which is good idea
1> Recapture those 5 months and get stamp while visiting India . After come back apply for the 7th year extension
2>Apply 7th year extension right now and get it stamp while visiting India
Please advise.
