Hi, Happy New Year to all

How long can I delay my medicals.??

I have cleared my interview and have received forms for medicals, Since I have not received my US green card yet, I want to know if I can delay the medicals now or they have a deadline sort of a thing for doing the medicals in these kind of cases.

Please give advice, what should I do in order to further delay the process in order to receive my US greencard in next couple of months time.
I also want to know how long do they give to land in Canada, after they receive the medicals.

Six months or a year???

Thank You!!

it all depends on when you are asked to do your medicals. Either 6 months or 60 days.

You can't delay your medicals. You should take your medicals and go ahead with your Canadian residency process. It will not affect your I-485.

Some have a year after they take there medicals to land and some have 6 months. Depends...

But you cannot extend your landing dates. If you don't land by the required date, you will have to apply from scratch.

Best thing is if they dont ask u to wait for ur medicals , go head and do it. Because We dont know How INS will work or when they will change their present rules.Don't take any risk. ACT SMART

This is my view

Aslo, you will have second choice , in case something happen here in US for your GC processing. You have an option to go to Canada ,rather to go your country?

Thank You all for you replies

I was pretty confused about what to do, but I think I am on the same page as you all are. I will go ahead do the medicals and hope for the best, that they give me a year atleast.
