Need advice urgently, aos 2010

Hi folks,
i'm a 2010 winner but my CN was high so i became current Sept. I"M on F1,local office Oklahoma city.
Not done medicals yet, no biometrics, no interview date, just sent the check to chicago for the fees this week. But 30th Sept is fast approaching.

What should i do to have a chance of getting to the interview before 30th Sept? Do i get notification for medicals, biometrics or i can do a 'walk in'?

ADVISE me on what do ASAP, chance of interview before the deadline?
Anybody with previous experience???
 
Ok, So first of all, what notification for medicals are you waiting on??? There is no notfication, you go and make it yourself and they can take from few days up to few weeks. Did you send the AOS fee of $375 to department of state? What about your AOS package to Chicago Lockbox? What about the DSP 122 and DS 230 and photos to KCC that should be sent right after you get your letter that you are a winner? Your case is very confusing to me as you do not give to many details. I hink you lost a year in vain, waiting for nothing. No one will send you appointment for biometrics and interview if you did not send you I-485 and all the other papers required.

i sent back the forms to kcc ages ago!!! i sent the package to the chicago lock box this week.
From your post, medicals are walk in without any instruction letter?? the local uscis office here told him there is a package i get instructing me to go for the medicals??
that being said, i've done the immunizations, just the physical exam at the authorised medical office i'm waiting to do! The $375 i sent too

Any further guidance is appreciated.
 
emmka, first of all, you lost a lot of time by submiting your AOS package to Chicago only this week, there is not enough time in one month for everything, that is why, people with High CN like yours applied as soon as they saw their number current for September, results which were available on July 11 in Visa Bulletin. Regarding medicals I did mine at a community health center, many hospitals know about this form and they feel it out for you and you can do it any time, just ask for the form for the green card and they all know about it.
